Love-A-Thon 2016 | The Bookish Community

The Love-a-Thon is an event dedicated to spreading positivity and love, it's hosted by Alexa of Alexa Loves Books, Hazel of Stay Bookish, Mel of The Daily Prophecy and Cee of the The Novel Hermit. It’s time dedicated to visiting other bloggers/Instagrammers/BookTubers, leaving a comment or two, making new friends and fostering positivity among the members of our amazing community.

One of the prompts of the Bingo challenge, I previously shared, is to write a post about your favorite book blogs, YouTube channels and Instagram profiles. I'm pretty new to this bookish community and, to be honest, a bit scared of not being a "real" member, since I don't read SO many books and I have very few time to do that.

It's funny to remember that the main purpose of this blog, when I opened it, actually was to share reviews of the books and the movies I was about to read and it never happened until now, one year and a half later!

Today I want to share with you some of my favorite people from bookblogging, booktube and bookstagram.

Blogs

Word Revel by Jos├ęphine is my go-to place for book photography tips, inspiration and news about the upcoming YA releases. I'm also participating to her Bookish Scene challenge, that she co-host with Georgie of What Georgie Did.

The Daily Prophecy by Mel is a new addiction to my feed reader and I loved every single post/series so far. Browsing through the pages of this blog is like being in a fantasy world alongside a princess, because Mel reminds me a fairy tale princess! Everything is so girly and magical there.

The Perpetual Page-Turner by Jamie is another favorite of mine. Her book reviews are so accurate and straight to the point that I usually refer them when I'm looking for a book to read. I also love the presence of personal posts.

Bonus: Super Space Chick, because Kristin is absolutely adorable and I love everything she writes!

YouTube

I must confess that I'm not into booktube, but I like to watch the videos from two ladies in particular.

Again, I love Kristin, aka Super Space Chick, and her videos are always funny and cute! I'm always super happy to watch her recommendations, because we have similar tastes and we're both huge Harry Potter fans.

Melissa of Melissas Books, I discovered her through Instagram and I immediately subscribed to her channel when she launched it. I love the way she talks about bookish things and it's nice to hear more about this topic from a fellow European gal :)

Instagram

Bookstagram is my new addiction, I didn't even know it was a thing until I checked out my Instagram stats and I saw that my most popular photos where those with books. I made some research and I discovered the #bookstagram hashtag! The rest is history :)

Ursula was kinda the first person from bookstagram I ever followed. Her photos are stunning and I love that she reviews some books in the captions.

Lotte is anothe favorite bookstagrammer of mine. It's nice that we have the same timezone, so I can admire her beautiful photos in the morning too.

Rosie is a wonderful blogger and bookstagrammer, she's now attending University again and I admire her photography skills, she's so talented!

Bonus: @SuperSpaceChick, haha, I know, it's Kristin again! But she take some great photos too and her Funko POP collection is huge!!
