Month at a Glance | February

I wanted to try something new with my monthly recaps, so I decided to start a new series. The only problem is the title, I was about to call it "Retrospect", when I noticed that basically everybody call their monthly feature that way, so let's use the super fancy "Month at a Glance" for now. :)

Here are some of the photos I shared for the #BookishScene and #WeeklyBookstagram challenges, I ended up having a lot of red without even noticing until I created this collage.

Unfortunately I didn't read any book I selected for my reading challenges. February can be called the month of self-help, since I ended up reading Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert, Radical Self-Love by Gala Darling and The Fringe Hours by Jessica N. Turner (I'm still reading it). I have no idea why I've been stuck with this genre! However, while I didn't enjoy the first book, the other two were exactly what I needed, even if they're written by such different personalities.

But it's time to move on! I've made some plans for March and April and I'm going to dive in fantasy again. Stay tuned for a more detailed post later this week.

Pan. I've finally watched the pirate movie with Hugh Jackman and...I didn't like it. Ugh, I'm so disappointed because I love pirates and I love Hugh Jackman, so I thought I'd like it a lot! The positive thing is that I don't regret missing it at the movie theater.

Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. I love love love this movie, especially because it's set inside the British Museum, one of my favorite places on earth. It was my first time rewatching it after the movie theater and I realized I forgot many things, like Sir Lancelot's nose! OMG I'm still laughing, haha!

Arrow. The show started again after the break and I'm still watching it, even if this series started boring me last year. I'm still not sure if I'll continue with the next season.

The Flash. I love this series! The story is great and the actors are amazing, I also really enjoy the crossovers with Arrow.

Pretty Little Liars. No matter how many illogical and new things they add, I LOVE this show!

The Shannara Chronicles. I have 2 episodes left, but I can already say that I love it and I'll definitely watch the next season! I should also start reading the books, since I've heard awesome things about them and the author.

How was your February?
