But then, life happened. I spent July only studying for my finals, then I've been away for two weeks in August and all my goals, well, abandoned. What annoys me is that I ALMOST finished a Bingo, I just needed one more book!
Here is what I've read.
Short Stories: The Man with the Twisted Lip (from The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes) and Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell
A Classic Novel: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Free Space: The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin
Non-fiction: Let it Out by Katie Dalebout
Sci-fi/fantasy: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling
I was planning to make my Bingo with Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell for the Young Adult Literature category, but I didn't even manage to start the book, I was also thinking to read something more, maybe A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro, for the Foreign Author square, but again I didn't have enough time.
I'm still happy with the amout of books I managed to read this Summer, despite my crazy schedule of study and work, I even reached my Goodreads goal! So now I can totally dive in my Fall TBR list (more about that soon, stay tuned!).
Did you join any Summer challenge? Are you happy with the amount of books you read this Summer?
